Penang Delicacy #3 - Chee Cheong Fun

Chee Cheong Fun, or rice noodle roll, is a Cantonese dish is commonly a thin rice roll with bits of meat in it and served with soy sauce. You can find it in dim sum restaurants. The Penang version is different, with the rice roll being thicker and it is served plain with no meat. The sauce is a thick shrim paste which is absolutely delicious, though not all will agree.
