It's a great capture Nicholas! I think it shows its' sadness.. but that's me. I'm not passing judgment here but do you know it the other facilities for the polar bears allows them to feel like they're in their normal environment? We used to have a polar bear "exhibit" at the Calgary Zoo but they closed it.

Hi Amy, the pool and the area around it is normal temperature but they do have a cave with air-condition in the event the bears get uncomfortable. The polar bear exhibit in Singapore Zoo is actually pretty well maintained and it has been there ever since I can remember.
They are also the first zoo to breed a polar bear in the tropics. Inuka, in the picture, was born in 1990.
