Another shot of a fly...

A lot of people do macro and concentrate on getting the details, which is nice as it gives something different. Who would have thought a fly has so much hair? But for me, I like macro but I also like to capture the surrounding and play with the rich contrasting colours.

I could have taken a really close-up macro of this fly but I decided to back up and capture a bit more of the surrounding. I liked the effect, and I hope you do too. Taken with a Nikon D300 and Tamron SP90.
