Munch time..

Testing out a new macro lighting setup using a ring flash instead of the Nikon R1C1. The spider was munching its breakfast when I caught it on camera. Taken with Nikon D90 and 105mm.

@john4jack: This is one of those China-made ones. So its really quite bang for the buck. Doesn't cost more than US$80 I believe :)

Lovely Macro, Nicholas. I have tried to get some good Macro shots but have failed miserably everytime. I would maybe hace cropped in a little tighter, so to show less of the leaf at the bottom.

Very cool bug - the eyes are perfect! I must admit to some envy - I've been eyeing a ring flash for awhile. Do you like how it works?

@willow: So far I found no fault with it, except the size can be a lil bulky and it slightly hinders the focusing ring.
